The list of NH businesses supporting RGGI in New Hampshire is growing and this morning stands at 92.  Not bad for hardly trying.    Its common sense  - ask a business owner if s/he’d like to pay for RGGI, only to see the money flow out of state with no benefit to New Hampshire - because that’s what will happen if RGGI is repealed.

Common sense conservation: pay part of the environmental costs of our energy privileges through RGGI, and use the proceeds to cut pollution, reduce energy bills and create jobs in New Hampshire.

Add your business to the list by contacting jgreene@conservationnh.org.

Repealing RGGI still has businesses paying in, but the proceeds leave NH …. to benefit others states left participating in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative – common sense abandoned.

Kudos to common-sense NH senators unwilling to repeal RGGI.  BUT stay tuned, because the fight to repeal RGGI is very real  and bankrolled by Washington-based oil and gas interests hiding behind a falsely patriotic facade.
